My dear sweet Jared, You must know of all the activity that is taking place here with us. You are a very busy little angel baby. I am trying very hard today to keep myself busy to avoid the crushing absence that I feel because you are not here. I love you my little man and THANK YOU FOR ALL THE PENNIES FROM HEAVEN!

Here at Shaken Baby Syndrome of Virginia, Inc., our initiative is to reach out to the community through education and awareness of SBS. Our trainers conduct seminars of all sizes in order to provide parents with valuable information on what to do when a baby cries, as well as the consequences of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS). We are an organization inspired by the co-founders' journey with their grandson, Jared Nicolas. Jared suffered severe brain damage at just six weeks of age and fought for his life until his tragic death on December 11, 2009.
